Get-X400AuthoritativeDomain

Use the Get-X400AuthoritativeDomain cmdlet to view the configuration information for the X.400 authoritative domains that are configured in your organization. For more information about how to configure an X.400 authoritative domain, see Set-X400AuthoritativeDomain.


Get-X400AuthoritativeDomain [-Identity <X400AuthoritativeDomainIdParameter>] [-DomainController <Fqdn>]

To run the Get-X400AuthoritativeDomain cmdlet, the account you use must be delegated the following:

  • Exchange View-Only Administrators role

DomainController

Optional

Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Fqdn

To specify the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the domain controller that writes this configuration information from the Active Directory directory service, include the DomainController parameter on the command. The DomainController parameter is not supported on computers that have the Edge Transport server role installed. The Edge Transport server role writes and reads only to the local Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM) directory service.

Microsoft.Exchange.Configuration.Tasks.X400AuthoritativeDomainIdParameter

Use this parameter to specify a string value for the X.400 authoritative domain. Enter either the GUID or the name of the remote domain.

 

Error Description

 

The following code samples show two Get-X400AuthoritativeDomain examples.

The first command returns all X.400 authoritative domains that are configured in the Active Directory forest in which you run the command.

The second command returns the configuration for an X.400 authoritative domain that is named Sales.

Get-X400AuthoritativeDomain
Get-X400AuthoritativeDomain -Sales
