Categories Dialog Box

Applies To: System Center Configuration Manager 2007, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP1, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP2

Use this dialog box to assign categories to Configuration Manager 2007 items, create new categories and delete existing categories.

This tab contains the following elements:

Add a new category
Use this box to specify the name of a new category to be added. You can create multiple categories by entering each on a separate line.

Available categories
Displays the available categories. You can select the categories you want to be assigned to an item.

Add
Adds new categories with the names specified in the Add a new category list box.

Delete
Deletes the selected category.

OK
Saves the changes and exits the dialog box.

Cancel
Exits the dialog box without saving any category assignments that have been created. Any new categories that have been created are retained.

Help
Opens the associated help topic.
