Configuring Desired Configuration Management

Applies To: System Center Configuration Manager 2007, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP1, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP2

To configure a Configuration Manager 2007 site for desired configuration management, you must perform the following two tasks:

  • Enable the desired configuration management client agent.

  • Configure the default compliance evaluation schedule if you want to use a value other than the default of 7 days.
