Applies To: System Center Configuration Manager 2007, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP1, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP2

Desired configuration management in Configuration Manager 2007 records the following status message ID when a client computer is enabled for desired configuration management and it is assigned a configuration baseline, but compliance evaluation fails because it does not have the prerequisite .NET Framework v2.0 or later:

  • 11802

Use the following procedure to find this status message to identify computers that do not have the .NET Framework v2.0 or later installed.

To identify computers that do not have the .NET Framework v2.0 or later

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System CenterConfiguration Manager / Site Database / System Status / Status Message Queries.

  2. Right-click the query All Status Messages, and then click Show Messages.

  3. In the All Status Messages dialog box, you are prompted for the time period for which you want to check status messages. Enter the time period or date and time, and then click OK.

  4. All status messages are displayed in the Status Message Viewer. Click the Component column, and locate the status messages with a component named Desired Configuration Management.
