Site Properties

The site properties tabs are used to configure Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 site properties.

In This Section

Site Properties: General Tab
Used to view the selected Configuration Manager 2007 site's properties and to add, change, or remove its parent site, which reconfigures your site hierarchy.

Site Properties: Wake On LAN Tab
Allows you to enable or disable Wake On LAN for the site and specify whether wake-up packets will be transmitted using unicast or subnet-directed broadcast.

Site Properties: Ports Tab
Used to specify the communication ports that Configuration Manager 2007 clients use in this site.

Site Properties: Site Mode Tab
Used to specify whether the site will operate in native mode or mixed mode, and the site mode related settings

Site Properties: Advanced Tab
Used to specify Configuration Manager 2007 publishing to Active Directory Domain Services, publishing to DNS, and child site connection security requirements
