Event Filters
Because of the high volume of events that can be generated while Microsoft Speech Server (MSS) is running, the logging schema defines several filters that specify a subset of events to be captured during a particular Trace session.
MSS provides a tool, MSSLogConfig, to specify the filter for use during a Trace session.
By default, events of interest to system administrators are always sent to the Windows Event log.
Note MSS uses categories to define which events are included under a particular filter. For more information, see Event Categories.
