Using Event Viewer
Using Event Viewer
Microsoft Speech Server (MSS) generates events to the Windows Event log, where system administrators can view them for general system information.
If the deployed application has been instrumented using the MSS Event Logging Schema, then application-generated events may also appear in the Event log.
Note For more information about the MSS Event Logging Schema, refer to the Speech Application Log Analysis Tools documentation, available in the Redistributable Installers directory of the SASDK Version 1.1 installation CD.
To use Event Viewer
Click Start, click Run, and then type eventvwr.
In the console tree, click Application.
Sort by Source, and search for Telephony Application Services or Speech Engine Services.
Use Event Viewer to sort, filter, and search for events, based on event properties. For example, set a filter for everything except Error-level messages.
To view only Error-level messages
In Event Viewer, right-click Application and click Properties.
On the Filter tab, under Event Types, uncheck everything except Error.
