Clearing Cached Resources for Telephony Application Services

Clear the cached resources for Telephony Application Services (TAS) using the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in for Microsoft Speech Server (MSS). For TAS, this request causes the service to reload the Start page for any idle SALT interpreters, and to recompile and recache any cached application prompt files or scripts.

To Clear Cached Resources for TAS

  1. Open the MMC Administration console. (For instructions, see Administering Speech Server Using MMC.)

  2. In the console tree, expand Microsoft Speech Server and then expand the applicable group.

  3. In the details pane, right-click the applicable TAS computer, point to All Tasks, and then click Clear Cached Resources.
