Speech Engine Services Speech Recognition Performance Counters
Requests for speech recognition (SR) sent to a Microsoft Speech Server (MSS) computer are processed individually by a single SR engine instance. SR engine performance counters track performance across all SR engine instances.
The following table describes the Speech Engine Services (SES) SR Engine Instances performance counters.

Audio Bytes Received/sec |
The number of audio bytes received by all SR engine instances per second. |
Grammar Cache Hits |
The cumulative number of grammar files requested that were loaded from the cache. |
Grammar Cache Misses |
The cumulative number of grammar files requested that required the file to be downloaded. |
Grammars Loaded |
The total number of grammars currently loaded into all SR engine instances. |
