This documentation is primarily for server administrators who plan for, deploy, and manage Microsoft Speech Server (MSS) systems. MSS systems include hardware and software components for deploying and running applications based on the Speech Application Platform.

Application developers may also be interested in this documentation to aid in testing speech applications as part of a pilot project.

Application deployment and testing information is presented in the context of administering an MSS system.
