Filter by Event Source

Use this procedure to view events by the object or application that generated the event.

To view events by event source

  1. In the Application Center snap-in, expand the cluster node or cluster member node, and then click Events.

  2. In the Events view, in the Source box, enter the event source.

Bb687419.note(en-us,TechNet.10).gif Note   Source refers to the object or application that generated the event. For example, Source for the Application Center Replication Service is Replication. For Health Monitor events, Source is the name of the data collector.
