Enable / Disable Monitors
Note You can add, delete, and edit monitors only in the Health Monitor snap-in. These features are not available in the Application Center snap-in.
To enable/disable a specific monitor
In the Application Center snap-in, expand the cluster member node, and then click Monitors.
In the Monitors view, click the monitor, and then click Disable.
If the selected monitor is disabled, click Enable.
Note Monitors that are synchronized across the cluster receive their state from the cluster controller. If one of these monitors is disabled on a member but is enabled on the controller, the disabled state will be overridden by the controller during the next synchronization cycle.
After enabling or disabling a monitor, it may take several seconds for the monitor's new status to appear. The Monitors view is updated every 30 seconds and it may take several seconds for the enable/disable operation to complete.
