Applies To: System Center Configuration Manager 2007, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP1, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP2

The Program Download Status window should automatically appear when a program starts downloading to your computer. It displays the status of a program download in one of several ways:

  • Download in progress: program files needed for installation are downloaded to the computer.

  • Download complete: the program is ready to install.

  • Program download failed: some or all parts of the program could not be downloaded. The Program Download Failed dialog box provides details about the cause of the failure and possible solutions.

To display the Program Download Status window

  • If the Program Download Status window does not appear when the download starts, double-click the Download Status icon on the download status bar.

To conceal the Program Download Status window

  • In the Program Download Status window, click Hide.

To display program download status in the Program Download Monitor

  • In the Program Download Monitor, point to Download in the menu, and then click Show Status.
