The following checklist provides the configuration requirements to install Configuration Manager 2007 client computers when they are assigned to a site that supports Internet-based client management.

If you have Internet client computers that will never connect to your intranet, install Configuration Manager clients using CCMSetup with command-line options for the following configuration: Native mode. Internet-only client management. Assign them to the Internet site. Specify the FQDN of the Internet management point. If they need to connect to the Internet using a proxy server, the proxy server settings must be specified after installation.
