Enter Group or User Name Dialog Box

Applies To: System Center Configuration Manager 2007, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP1, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP2

Use the Configuration Manager 2007 Enter Group or User Name dialog box to specify Windows user names or groups to include in the validation of object permissions.

This dialog box contains the following elements:

Enter the Group or User Name
Specify the Windows user or group name you want to configure security permissions for in the form DOMAIN\USER.

noteNote
If you are specifying the name of a built in group or user, use the form BUILTIN\USER.

Select the type of access control for this group or user
Specify whether you want to configure Allow or Deny permissions for this group or user:

Allow specifies that the selected group or user is configured to allow the security permission.

Deny specifies that the selected group or user is configured to deny the security permission.
