Application Center 2000 Service Pack 1

Application Center 2000 Service Pack 1 (SP1) addresses specific issues identified through customer feedback and additional product testing since the initial product ship date. There are no new features included in SP1.

Note: Microsoft strongly encourages customers to install SP1 on all Application Center servers.

Included in Application Center SP1

The updates in Application Center SP1 span a number of areas, including:

  • Setup

  • Cluster services

  • COM+ load balancing

  • Monitoring

  • Replication

In addition to the areas listed above, Application Center SP1 includes Microsoft Health Monitor SP1 and Microsoft SQL Serverâ„¢ 2000 MSDE SP1.

Note: The system requirements for Application Center 2000 Service Pack 1 (SP1) are the same as those outlined for the server components on the system requirements for Application Center page, with the following additions: 110 megabytes (MB) of hard disk space, Microsoft Windows 2000 Server or Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server with Service Pack 2 applied, and Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 5.0.
