How to Remove a Virtual Machine
Use the following procedure to remove a virtual machine. You can remove a virtual machine when it is deployed or when it is stored in the library. When you remove a virtual machine, its configuration file (.vmc) and all attached virtual hard disks (.vhd files) are deleted.
To remove a virtual machine
If the virtual machine is deployed, in Virtual Machines view, expand All Hosts, and then navigate to the host on which the virtual machine is deployed to display the virtual machines on the host.

If the virtual machine is stored in the library, in Library view, click Library Server. Then, under Filters, expand Type, and select the Virtual Machine check box to display stored virtual machines.
In the results pane, click the virtual machine, and then, in the Actions pane, click Remove.
At the confirmation prompt, click Yes.
