DPM Help and the DPM Management Pack Guide are updated for DPM 2007. The organization of other documentation has changed for DPM 2007, as shown in the following table.

DPM Planning Guide: Explains the features of DPM 2007 and how DPM works. The guide also provides the information you need to plan your DPM deployment, including protection group and DPM server configuration.

DPM Deployment Guide: Provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring DPM, and it includes an introduction to the DPM user interface.

DPM Operations Guide: Provides recommendations for monitoring and managing DPM operations on DPM servers and on the protected file server. The guide also provides instructions for troubleshooting problems with data protection and recovery.
