Working with Protection Groups

Data Protection Manager (DPM) uses protection groups to help you organize and manage the data you protect. A protection group is a collection of data sources (such as volumes and shares) that share the same protection configuration. To create and maintain protection groups, use the Protection task area in DPM Administrator Console.
