Monitoring Server validation and error logging

A log is created when installing the server components. Full logging of all installation actions and checks are performed and written to two log files named MonitoringStatus%date%.log and MonitoringVerbose%date%.log. To find the log files on the computer running Monitoring Server, from the Start menu, select Run, and then type %tmp%.
Monitoring Server will log any errors that occur during startup in the application log. All existing content should be viewed to ensure that the upgrade completed successfully.
