Publishing Report Definition Language files

This information applies to operational reporting only and not to any other part of Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007.

The first step in deploying operational reports is to publish the Report Definition Language (RDL) files to the computer that is running SQL Server Reporting Services.

Publishing the RDL files requires the following RDL files and administrative access to SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services. The five RDL files used by Planning Server are found after installation in the <installation folder>\3.0\Reports folder.

  • Assignments.rdl

  • CycleInstances.rdl

  • FormStatus.rdl

  • Jobs.rdl

  • ModelAssociation.rdl
