Recover Planning Web Service

When the computer running Planning Web Service fails, you can quickly prepare a new computer that has a new name.

Recover a Planning Web Service

  1. Run the Planning Server Setup.msi.

  2. Run Planning Server Configuration Manager to set up a new Planning Web Service server.

  3. Replace the failed one with the new one.

  4. Stop Planning Web Service on the failed server. Inform all users who connect to the Planning Web Service server about the new name so they can connect to the new server.
