Purging data from Planning Server databases

After your Planning Server system is running for a period of time, the Planning Server databases will have grown much larger. Large databases slow down performance and make database maintenance operations (such as backup and restore) more difficult. For that reason, customers need to purge the data inside their Planning Server databases.
Important
Always back up the databases before you perform any one of purge tasks outlined in this chapter. All purge tasks are irreversible.
