Use a published Configuration Storage Server (Enterprise Edition)

To use a published Configuration Storage server (Enterprise Edition)

  1. In the console tree of ISA Server Management, right click Array_Name, and click Properties.

  2. On the Published Configuration Storage tab, you can select whether the array's Configuration Storage servers are accessed directly over the network, or over a virtual private network (VPN) site-to-site connection.

  3. If the access is over a VPN site-to-site connection, enter the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the securely published Configuration Storage server in the Alternate securely published Configuration Storage server field.

  4. Click OK to close the array properties page.

Note

To open ISA Server Management, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then click ISA Server Management.

Important

These configuration settings must be completed before the VPN connection is broken to take advantage of the alternate securely published Configuration Storage server.
