TechNet Newsgroups

Got a question? Chances are, one of your peers has an answer. Newsgroups are a great way to exchange ideas with other professionals, look for suggestions and answers, or supply some yourself. TechNet has a list of key newsgroups for IT professionals focused on Microsoft products and solutions.

To make participation even easier, TechNet provides access to IT Professional-focused public newsgroups through our Web-based newsgroup client that doesn't require you to set up newsreader software. It offers greater stability, a junk e-mail filter, and a user interface similar to Microsoft Outlook Express.

You can also use any newsreader software to access the Microsoft newsgroups. However, we suggest using Outlook Express, which is installed as part of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
