Axis Title Properties Dialog Box, General

Select General on the Axis Title Properties dialog box to define the axis title. The axis title is displayed under the x-axis or next to the y-axis.

Options

  • Title text
    Type a title or an expression that represents the axis title.

  • Title alignment
    Select an alignment or type an expression that represents the alignment of the axis title relative to the intersection of the axes.

    • Near   Displays the axis title toward the intersection of the two axes.

    • Center   Displays the axis title in the center of the axis.

    • Far   Displays the axis title away from the intersection of the two axes.
