How to Edit an Existing Capacity Model
Use the following procedure in the Capacity Planner Model Editor to open a saved capacity model file. A Capacity model file is saved as a .sam file. After you open the capacity model, you can perform tasks in the Model Editor and run a simulation.

To edit an existing capacity model
On the File menu, click Open.
Browse to the folder where the .sam file that you want to edit is located, click the file, and then click Open.
Perform Model Editor tasks.
