WAN Link in an Office Is Overloaded

The following validation message can appear when the WAN link connecting sites cannot handle the load of the traffic being sent:

<SiteName>, <WANConnectionName>. <WANLinkDirection> WAN link is overloaded

Typically, this adjustment message appears when you have added additional load to the capacity model; for example, adding additional users overloads the WAN link.

To make the required adjustments, use one or more of the following procedures:

• To edit a connection in the Model Editor in the How to Edit Connection Details in the Model Editor topic to change the uplink and downlink bandwidth values to provide additional capacity
• To add a site-to-site connection in the Model Editor in the How to Edit Connection Details in the Model Editor topic to add additional redundant WAN capacity
• To add a site-to-site connection in the Model Editor in the How to Edit Connection Details in the Model Editor topic to add additional site-to-site connections
