Using This Guide

Published: December 20, 2007

This technical guide is part of Microsoft® Deployment Solution Accelerator. Microsoft Deployment is the next version of Business Desktop Deployment (BDD) 2007. This document guides the Image Engineering feature team through the creation of Lite Touch Installation (LTI) images by using Deployment Workbench.

Note   In this document, Windows applies to the Windows Vista®, Windows® XP Professional, Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, Windows Server® 2008, and Windows Server 2003 operating systems unless otherwise noted.

This step-by-step guide is an extension of the Microsoft Deployment document, Image Engineering Feature Team Guide. Because this guide contains guidance specific to creating LTI images in Deployment Workbench, reviewing the guides that Table 1 describes can provide additional information.
