SCRM 2006 Directories and Files

The following directories contain the SCRM 2006 program files. These are installed in <InstallationDrive>:\Program files\Microsoft System Center Reporting Manager on the SCRM 2006 data warehouse server. Although some of this information is included in the Getting Started Guide for SCRM 2006 Administrators, additional details are included in this topic.

  • BIN

    • X86 subdirectory contains the .dll and .exe files used by SCRM 2006.

  • Config

    • System\Log subdirectory contains the SCRM log files.

    • User subdirectory contains Scrmconsole.msc (SCRM Administrator console).

  • DTS

    • MOM subdirectory contains .exe and .dll files used for the MOM DTS job.

    • SMS subdirectory contains .dts files and log files for the ETL process for SMS DTS jobs.

  • Help

    • Contains SCRM help files.

  • Reports

    • Contains the XML report files that ship with SCRM 2006.

  • Scripts

    • Contains SQL scripts used to create the SCRM databases.

  • Utilities

    • Contains SCRMUserDataTemplate.xls, which is used for importing business context data into the SytemCenterPresentation database.

    • Data Source Setup subdirectory contains ReportingDataSource.msi and BAT files for each SMS data source. This is used for installing the SCRM components on the SMS data sources.
