If you want to run the service under the context of a different account, the account must be a member of either the SC DW Administrators group or the SC SW SMS DTS Local group.

  • Local user groups are created, including the following:

    • SC DW Administrators   Members of this group can perform all actions in SCRM 2006.

    • SC DW SMS DTS   Members of this group have permission to schedule SMS DTS jobs.

    • SC DW DTS   Members of this group have permission to schedule MOM DTS jobs.

    • SC DW Readers   Members of this group have read access to the System Center Data Warehouse.

    • SC DW Viewers   Members of this group have permission to view information using the SCRM Administrator console, including scheduled DTS jobs.

  • The SCRM_Staging folder is created and shared as SCRMSMSShare.

  • Local System Account, Local Administrators, SC DW Administrators, and SC DW SMS DTS groups are all added to the share and NTFS permissions.

  • The SCRM 2006 data warehouse objects (SQL objects) are created, including the following:

    • SQL Agent Job (ProcessDWJob)

    • SystemCenterConfiguration database

    • SystemCenterStaging database

    • SystemCenterPresentation database

  • The reporting user account is created.

    • This account and its credentials are used by SQL Reporting Services to connect to the Reporting database.
