Before you can start protecting data, you must install a file agent on each of the file servers that contain data that you want to protect.

In the Management task area, you can:

  • Install the file agent on the file servers that you want to protect

  • Update the file agent, if an update is available, on the file servers that you are protecting

  • Update the number of licenses that you have purchased

  • Roll back a file agent to a previous version

  • Uninstall the file agent from the file servers that you have stopped protecting

  • Check the status of the file agent on each of your protected file servers.
