Import Computer for Out of Band Management Wizard - Select Source Page

Use the Select Source page in the Import Computer for Out of Band Management Wizard in Configuration Manager 2007 SP1 and later to specify whether to import one or more computers to provision for AMT by using a file or a single computer by specifying the information in the wizard.

The information in this topic applies only to Configuration Manager 2007 SP1 and later.

ImportantImportant
Do not proceed with the wizard unless you have the correct SMBIOS GUID for each computer that you will import. The SMBIOS GUID is also known as the UUID, and this value is required for out of band provisioning. Your computer manufacturer or supplier should be able to provide this value if you cannot locate it.

This page contains the elements described in the following table.

 

Name Description

Import computers using a file

Specifies that one or more computers will be imported by using a file that contains information about the computers. By default, this setting is selected.

Import single computer

Specifies that a single computer will be imported using the information specified on the Single Computer page in the wizard.

Next

Goes to the next page of the wizard.

Finish

Goes to the Summary page of the wizard.

Cancel

Discards the settings and exits the wizard.
