How to Modify a Predefined SMS 2003 Report

The following procedure provides the steps necessary to modify the SQL query in a predefined SMS report. For a detailed procedure that shows how to modify a predefined SMS report using a real-world scenario, see Modify a Predefined SMS 2003 Report in Appendix E.

Procedure

To modify a predefined report

  1. In the SMS 2003 console tree, navigate to and then click the Reports node to display all of the available SMS 2003 reports in the display pane:

    Systems Management Server

      └ Site Database (site code - site name)

        └ Reporting

          └ Reports

  2. In the display pane, right-click the report of your choice, and then click Properties.

  3. Click Edit SQL Statement to open the Report SQL Statement dialog box. The SQL statement for the report is listed in the SQL Statement pane. Modify the SQL statement to retrieve and display the desired data.
