Setup and configuration for the MBSA Management Pack is slightly different if you are using the MOM 2005 Workgroup Edition. When using this version of MOM, the MBSA Management Pack is imported by default and all rules are enabled by default. Additionally, the MOM Management Server serves as the file transfer server. To complete configuration, use the instructions in the preceding section to complete the following tasks:

  • Create a Web Virtual Directory to point to the MSSecure.cab file.

  • Configure the Background Intelligent Transfer Service to run either automatically or manually.

  • Add the MOM Management server to the MBSA File Transfer Server computer group.

  • Add the MOM Management server address to the MOM Global settings.
