How to Clone a Predefined SMS 2003 Report

The following procedure provides the steps necessary to clone a predefined SMS report. For a detailed procedure that shows how to clone and modify a predefined SMS report using a real-world scenario, see Clone a Predefined SMS 2003 Report in Appendix E.

Procedure

To clone an existing report

  1. In the SMS 2003 console tree, navigate to and click the Reports node to display all of the available SMS 2003 reports in the display pane:

    Systems Management Server

      └ Site Database (site code - site name)

        └ Reporting

          └ Reports

  2. Right-click the report to be cloned, point to All Tasks, and then click Clone to open the Clone Report dialog box.

  3. In the New report name text box, enter a unique name for the cloned report. The display pane will refresh and list all of the reports sorted by name, including the cloned report.

  4. Right-click the new report, and then click Properties to modify the report properties.
