You can use other tools to look at WMI. If you want to use any ODBC-compatible application (such as Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access), you can use the WBEM ODBC driver. This driver is used in the same way as any other ODBC driver, but it allows you to access information through WMI.

To save MOF data that you find while browsing (possibly for use on another computer), you can use Wbemdump.exe. Wbemdump.exe is a command-line oriented program and is included in the WMI SDK. For more information, use Wbemdump.exe with the /? switch.
