Important

Thoroughly consider the effects on your organization of disabling a Project Web Access permission before making such a change. If the removal of the permission does not need to be applied to all Project Web Access users, then verify whether another approach could be used. For example, could you create a custom group and deny the permission you want to restrict instead of disabling the permission throughout the organization?

To disable a Project Web Access organizational permission

Perform the following procedure to disable a Project Web Access organizational permission in Office Project Server 2007.

Disable a Project Web Access permission

  1. On the Project Web Access home page, in the Quick Launch, click Server Settings.

  2. On the Server Settings page, in the Security section, click Project Web Access Permissions.

  3. On the Project Web Access Permissions page, in the Available Project Web Access Permissions list, clear the Enable check box next to the permission that you no longer want to make available to Project Web Access users. All Project Web Access permissions are enabled by default.

  4. Click Save.

    Note

    Enabling a previously disabled permission is simply done by selecting the Enable check box next to the permission that has been disabled.
