Extract Project Web Access site data to a new content database This article describes how to extract Project Web Access (PWA) site data from a content database that also contains non-PWA sites, and then restore the PWA site data to a new content database. The resulting configuration, in which a content database is used solely for PWA site data, is recommended for avoiding problems with operations such as backup and recovery, migrating data to a new farm, or migrating to a newer version of Project Server in the future.
