Getting Started for Groove Enterprise Services
Updated: October 16, 2008
Applies To: Groove Server 2007
Microsoft® Office Groove® Enterprise Services 2007 provides access to Groove Server Manager and Relay services through a hosted environment at a Microsoft data center. For information about procuring these services, see http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/grooveservices/default.aspx?ofcresset=1.
Your Microsoft Office Groove Server contact will create a management domain for your organization and provide you with a registration process. Groove Enterprise Services registration requires a Windows Live ID. For information about getting a Windows Live ID, see Windows Live.
Once registration is complete, administrators can immediately begin setting Groove policies and entering user information. Groove relay support is included with the Enterprise Management services, so no relay configuration is necessary.
For information about managing your domain, see Getting Started with Groove Management Domains.
For information about managing Groove from onsite Groove Servers, see Deployment Scenarios for Groove.
