All Groove components and tools reside on the Groove client computer, making end users and their devices the mainstay of Groove communications. Groove relay servers are also integral components of the Groove system, sustaining connectivity when direct client connection is not possible or feasible. In organizations that require centralized administration to help secure, facilitate, and monitor collaboration software, Groove Manager servers play an overriding role in the system.
