Governance is the set of roles, responsibilities, and processes that you put in place in an enterprise to guide the development and use of a solution based on Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies. As part of your governance planning, you must identify the stakeholder teams and individuals who will compose the governance body that defines the scope and objectives of governance in your organization. The governance body should then determine the governance strategy for the organization, map out the policies that will implement the strategy, and determine how the strategy will be enforced across the organization.
