A device that you want to manage does not appear as Managed on a member’s Account Information page.
Apply a registry key to the device, as described in Registering User Devices with the Groove Manager. This makes the device a part of your domain and makes it subject to the download or install policy that you set for that domain. Once you have applied the registry setting to devices to add them to your domain, Groove automatically applies the domain’s device policies to that device.

Download of Groove Manager public key to Groove Relay server is not successful.
If you used a 32-bit Internet Explorer (IE) when attempting to apply the Groove Manager public key file on the Groove Relay server, the necessary registry update may have occurred in the wrong location. To ensure proper download and processing of the Groove Manager public key, save the key (ManagementServer.reg) in a directory on the Groove Relay server and double-click the file from Windows Explorer. Do not attempt to open the file from IE.

User input of a Groove account configuration code fails, displaying the message ‘Groove cannot reach the Configuration Server’.
The Groove client (user’s device) cannot communicate with the Account Configuration/ Groove Manager to download the necessary information associated with the account configuration code. Check the Account Configuration server name sent to the user (the Groove Manager server name) to make sure that it is correct.

One of the following error messages appears on Groove clients when a user attempts to configure a Groove account or use a managed identity:
'All identities in the account have been disabled due to a Device/Identity Policy. Groove cannot log on.'
'The supplied identity is not allowed on your machine. Contact your Groove administrator.'
You may have set the identity policy, ‘Identities may only be used on a managed device in this domain’, and the managed user is running Groove on an unmanaged device. To correct the problem, make sure to clear the policy setting to disable it, or make the user’s device managed. See Groove Domain Member Policies for information about setting this policy.

Make sure that you used only valid characters when entering the domain member’s contact information. Edit the information, if necessary.
