Managing Groove Relay Servers

Updated: 2008-04-01

The Groove Manager enables administrators to provision domain groups and members with specific Groove Relay servers. The provisioning of enterprise relay servers to management domain members supersedes the use of public relay servers for maintaining successful, uninterrupted Groove client communications throughout an enterprise. Like the Groove Manager, the Groove Relay is a component of a Microsoft Office Groove Server installed onsite.

For more information about installing and configuring Groove Server Relay, see Getting Started with Groove Server Relay.

NoteNote:

If you are using Groove Enterprise Services, relay services are managed for you, so this and related information about Groove Server Relay does not apply to you.
