Description

Temporarily suspends the farm's ability to accept new sessions that are essential to rendering InfoPath forms on a server.

stsadm -o quiescefarm

-maxduration <Duration, in minutes>

Parameter name	Value	Required?	Description
maxduration	A valid number for the number of minutes, such as "240"	Yes	Number of minutes for the quiescing process to take. There is no maximum limit.
