This downloadable white paper provides information about using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database mirroring to provide increased availability within a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 farm. Database mirroring makes it easier and faster to recover from a failure of a database or a database server.
This paper has been updated. It includes updated information on the recommended number of mirroring sessions per server for SharePoint Products and Technologies databases. It also describes how to transfer the SQL Server permissions required by SharePoint Products and Technologies to a mirror server.

Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 does not support the use of SQL Server database mirroring.
