This section describes how to create and manage Stirling groups and policies.
A Stirling policy is a collection of settings that you can apply to multiple assets. You can configure policies by using the Policy Management view of the Stirling console. In that view, you can create new policies, as well as manage policy units. You can also see details about your policies, such as binding precedence order and policy settings.
For more information about Stirling policies, see Managing Stirling policies.
A Stirling group is a collection of assets. By organizing your assets into groups, you can apply policies to multiple computers and users. You can manage groups by using the Assets and Groups view of the Stirling console. In that view, you can create new groups and edit group membership. You can also observe details about your groups, such as group membership, group membership overlap, and policy bindings.
For more information about Stirling groups, see Managing Stirling groups.
