Enable User Account Dialog Box

For a user account that is disabled, use the Enable User Account dialog box to enable the account for network access and to assign a client access license (CAL) for Windows EBS.

Note

The CAL assignment options that are available depend on the CAL packs that are installed and the number of CALs that you have assigned to other user accounts and to devices.

Settings

Item Description

Specifies that the user account can access network resources only by logging on to a licensed device.

Standard Edition CAL

Assigns the user account a Standard Edition CAL, which permits access from any networked device to the standard network resources such as e-mail, shared folders, and print services.

Premium Edition CAL

Assigns the user account a Premium Edition CAL, which permits access from any networked device to the standard network resources and the Premium Technologies.
