Look for roaming profiles and remote home folders in user objects
If you already completed the Look for scripts in your user object settings section, and you have noted the locations of roaming profiles and remote home folders, advance to Create new shared folders.
Follow these steps to examine user objects to see if you are using roaming profiles or remote home folders.
To examine user objects
On a server in the same forest as Windows EBS, log on as domain administrator, click Start, click Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Users and Computers.
In the left pane, expand the domain where Windows EBS is installed, and then click the Users node. In the right pane, you should see a list of users and groups that are members of this domain.
To separate the users from the groups, click the Type column. Users will now be at the bottom of the list, after groups.
Double-click each user to open Properties, click the Profile tab, and then inspect the Profile path and Home folder fields.
Click the Terminal Services Profile tab, and check the same fields.
If either Profile path field contains files, you are using roaming profiles that you can migrate to Windows EBS.
If either Home folder field contains file paths, you are using remote home folders that you can migrate to Windows EBS.
Note where the roaming profiles and home folders are stored and which users had these fields set.
