Configuration and Migration Tasks Checklist

To guide you through the final configuration of Windows EBS, the Configuration and Migration Tasks checklist opens automatically after you finish installing Windows EBS on the Management Server, Security Server, and Messaging Server. Until you complete the final configuration tasks, the checklist opens each time you start the Administration Console.

To start the Configuration and Migration Tasks checklist from the Administration Console, on the File menu, click Start Configuration and Migration Tasks.

Checklist layout

  • Task list
    The task list in the left pane shows the order of the configuration and migration tasks, their status, and their dependence on previous tasks.
  • Task description
    The task description area in the right pane provides additional information about a task and step-by-step instructions for completing that task.
    To track your progress through the checklist, when you have completed the steps for a task, click Mark task as finished.
